MBC Marine Switches

Danfoss MBC pressure and temperature switches are used in marine applications where space and reliability are the most important features.

MBCs are compact switches, designed according to Danfoss's new block design to survive in the harsh conditions known from machine rooms onboard ships. MBCs have high vibration resistance and feature all commonly marine approvals.

The Danfoss MBC pressure switch is for marine and hydraulic applications and approved by nine major ship authorities
The fixed, but low differential guarantees accurate monitoring of critical pressures. MBV test valves can be delivered as standard option for MBC pressure switches.

MBC thermostats are temperature controlled switches designed for use in severe industrial environments.
The MBC thermostats is part of the Danfoss block controls programme consisting of MBC pressure controls and thermostats, MBS pressure transmitters and MBV test valves.
The thermostats are suitable for use in monitoring and alarm systems in factories, diesel plant, compressors, power stations and on board ship.

Danfoss MBC 8000 thermostats can be equipped with remote sensors and standard or armoured capillary tube (for additional protection of the tube) as well as with self-supporting rigid sensor. Different sizes of sensor pockets can be ordered as accessories specially designed for our comprehensive thermostats scope.
