Pressure & Temperature Control
Danfoss can offer you pressure switches and transmitters for just about any application – light or heavy duty.
On the temperature side, Danfoss switches and temperature sensors offer accurate control and measurement for a wide variety of industries.
Pressure switches BCP, CS, CAS, KP, KPI, KPS, MBC and RT measure and control the pressure of air and liquids. Danfoss pressure switch ranges are accurate, robust, built for long life, and perform flawlessly day after day, even under harshest conditions.
Temperature switches CAS, KP, KPS, MBC and RT and Temperature sensors AKS and MBT offer accurate control and measurement for a wide variety of industries.
Pressure transmitter ranges AKS, EMP2 and MBS help keep your demanding industrial processes under control. The MBS 33M, 3100 (compact) and 5100 (block type) and EMP 2 are ship-approved pressure transmitters and designed for use in almost all marine applications they offer reliable pressure measurement, even under harsh environmental conditions.
Danfoss offers one of the most highly reliable, vibration resistant temperature sensors in the Marine industry with its MBT 5252. The MBT 5252 is a heavy-duty temperature sensor that can be used for controlling cooling water, lubrication oil, hydraulic oil, and refrigeration plants within general industry and marine applications.
The temperature sensor and temperature transmitter ranges are based on decades of global experience within the marine industry and in refrigeration plants - undoubtedly some of the toughest environments around. Danfoss temperature sensors and Danfoss transmitters are designed for heavy-duty applications.
Industrial Valves
Danfoss extensive valve range includes solenoid valves and coils, externally operated and thermostatically operated valves.
Externally operated valves AV210, HP220, HP230N and EV220X (EVSI)spec. are designed for more specialised applications, such as: Media with high dirt content or fire sprinkler systems.
Thermostatically operated valves AVTA, AVTB, BVTS and WVTS are a simple and reliable control solution requiring neither electricity nor control air. An example of application is automatic control of water temperature in cooling systems.
Solenoid valves are available in direct-operated, servo-operated, assisted lift and 2 or 3 way versions. Danfoss has a complete range of valves and a wide choice of AC and DC coils ensure that you will always find the right valve type for any given application. For example, whilst a direct-operated version is available for low capacity applications and pipe sizes of 3/8” or smaller, the use of servo-operated valves is necessary with larger flows and pipe sizes.
The Compact solenoid valve range EV210A, EV220A and EV310A offers a wide range of features giving advantages over other makes of valve. The valve bodies combined with Danfoss coils give optimum performance for their size.
The High Performance solenoid valve range EV210B, EV215B, EV220B, EV222B, EV224B, EV225B, EV250B, EV260B and EV310B (EVI , EVSI) direct operated or servo operated are used for a large number of industrial applications where a simple and reliable solution is a must.
The range of Industrial Vacuum valve models VV includes manually, pneumatically and electromagnetically operated valves for all industrial processes.
The Coil program AB, AC, AK, AM, BA, BB, BE, BG, BL, BM, BM and BR consists of both the easy-to-handle Clip-On coil system and traditional coils with threaded fastener. With the clip-on coil, Danfoss offers an innovative product concept and feature to help save time and efficiency during installation. The system ensures safe and easy mounting and removal of the coil from the valve body without using special tools just a screwdriver. It is also beneficial to the environment as the coils are not impregnated, sealing is optimised and the service life of the coils is extended.
Also, with approvals such as EEx / ATEX and UL, they offer a wide range of application specific coils for e.g. steam or hazardous areas.
Contactors, Mini Contactors And Motor Starters:
As well as electro-mechanical contactors, circuit breakers, timers and thermal overload relays, Danfoss innovative CI-tronic™ electronic soft starters and contactors provide you with ultimate power control.
Circuit breakers CTI for short circuit - and overload protection of motor applications, covering the current range from 0.1 to 90 A AC-3 rating.
Mini contactor CI range CI4 and CI5 from 2.2 kw to 4 kw
Contactor CI range CI6, CI9, CI12, CI15, CI16, CI20, CI25, CI30 and CI61 up to CIEI420 which includes control relays / contactors from 2.2 to 238 kW.
Motor starter CIM is a direct on-line unit, consisting of a contactor with a start contact.
Electronic contactors ECI are designed for fast and demanding switching of loads such as heaters, solenoids, transformers and motors.
Motor contactor MCI DOL are designed for fast and demanding switching of 3-phase AC motors in cranes, packaging machines and other applications with frequent inching.
Electronic motor starter MCI CL with integrated protection and control features. Offers better reduction of starting current than traditional star/delta starter.
Electronic soft starter CI-tronic™ MCI and TCI products cover the range 3 to 25Amp (1.5-11 kW), have a universal 24 - 480V AC/DC control voltage, and come complete with heat sink and DIN rail mounting bracket.
Electronic timers ATI, BTI, MTI and SD with their robust design and many built-in functions are ideal for OEMs and panel builders.
Thermal overload range TI9C, TI16C, TI25C, TI30C, TI80 & TI86 are used with the contactor range CI 4 - CI 86 to give protection of squirrel-cage motors. The Danfoss electronic motor protection relays TI 180E and TI 630E give effective protection of electric motors exposed to thermal overload, phase failure and asymmetrical load.
